Dear Families of Kiunga International School

I warmly welcome you to the 2024 school year. As the principal it is my sincere pleasure to work with my dedicated staff and community in meeting individual needs of students in a caring learning environment. We are committed to ensuring that your child receives the best support to learn and grow

Firstly, my name is Mrs. Josephine Tokomara and this is my fourth year as the Principal of this wonderful school in Kiunga. Kiunga is a small mining town in Western Province and we have roughly about 75 plus students.

We truly have a fantastic school where students are caring, helpful and respectful among themselves. We ensure that we develop connected lifelong learners in our school through the IEA curriculum and extra-curricular activities that is done each term throughout the year.

It is my desire to keep focus on increasing student’s achievement and doing whatever it takes to make sure that students are not only successful with learning but enjoys coming to school.

We are excited for the opportunity to work with you and your children in a safe and caring environment this year.
